RULES N INFO

wuoteyt

Cobalt was launched as a break from the generalized rules that most other SMP's had. Unfortunately, with this break, it was chaos. It wasn't like chaos was inappropriate for the server, but it made it a poor experience for many users. So, though we loved the chaotic nature of our beloved server, we had to set a few basic rules that made it fun as well as allowing players to reach the utmost potential of their creativity!

To keep our community kind and safe we expect everyone to adhere to these rules, from content creators and server subscribers, to new members just finding new friends. Please take a quick glance if you are not sure how we run things.

○ You should be ALL age appropriate

As Discord is for everyone 13+, we try our best to keep it clean for users of all ages to join. This means keeping the chat clean from swearing, inappropriate topics, and/or Not Safe For Work (NSFW) content or language.

This also goes for profiles (Usernames, Profile Pictures, About Me's, etc) as they are easy to come accross within the server.

○ You should NOT discuss controversy

As much as we, ourselves, like to persuade people to our opinions we'd appriciate not turning the chat into a warzone. What this means is avoiding any topics such as Religion, Politics, LGBT+, Racism, and so on.

You MAY have these conversations in DMs if you so please, but in no circumstances should they be brought within the server.

PLEASE NOTE: If you engage in a conversation with someone via DM and it gets out of hand, we, as moderators, have no power over them. So tread lightly.

○ You should try and stay considerate

Try not to dominate, spam, mention, and anything that may disrupt Chats and VCs. For VCs, use of soundboards and voice changers are permitted as long as they are not too loud and they do not disrupt the rest of the VC.

Be kind to everyone no matter what, you may judge silently and as you'd judge youself. Chances are you arent so different. "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."

In addition, if someone asks a question answer it. If you cannot answer the question try to point them in the direction of someone who can.
